One of Zantus’s acolytes leapt in to heal my sausage-sodden ass after I fell from a particularly nasty hit from a dogslicer, but get this – she made as if she was healing me with a spell she really did it with a well-concealed wand. She noticed that I noticed and I noticed that she noticed that I noticed, but damn if she isn’t as elusive as she is fine.

More mysteries here. She’s an acolyte of Father Zantus who hopped in to help us (okay mostly me) during the fight. She played like she was healing me with a spell, but she used a wand she had hidden up her sleeves instead. I saw her do it and she saw me seeing her do it. I didn’t tell any of the others about that just yet though. I’m guessing she wants to heal but is unable to channel her deity’s favor to do so (those wands don’t come cheap though, so where’s she getting the money)?
